What is Wildtorium?
Wildtorium is a place where families come to connect, learn, and play—together.
At its heart, Wildtorium is a children’s museum, designed to spark curiosity and creativity through hands-on exhibits and playful experiences. But more broadly, we like to call it an interactive museum for families—a welcoming space where kids and their grown-ups can explore side by side, make memories, and discover the joy of learning through play.
What is a Children’s Museum?
A children’s museum is a special kind of place—created just for children and their adults—where learning happens through play. Unlike traditional museums that ask you to look but not touch, children’s museums invite kids to do, try, build, explore, and create.
Through hands-on exhibits and open-ended activities, children’s museums encourage curiosity, imagination, problem-solving, and joy. Whether it’s experimenting with light and shadow, designing a tower that won’t topple, or role-playing in a pretend marketplace, kids are building real-world skills while having serious fun.
It’s a shared space where families grow together—discovering, learning, and playing side by side.
Introducing Wildtorium!
Wildtorium is the Flathead Valley’s very own children’s museum—a vibrant, interactive space where education meets imagination.
Here, families will find exhibits designed to engage young learners of all abilities in hands-on discovery. Our exhibits spark curiosity and creativity through science, art, pretend play, engineering, movement, and more. Everything at Wildtorium is built for children to explore with their adults—encouraging connection, collaboration, and learning through joyful play.
We’re not a school, and we’re not a playground—we’re something wonderfully in between. From toddlers to tweens, Wildtorium offers an environment where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are welcome, and imaginations run wild.
